Position Summary:
Performs various ultrasound procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice of an ultrasound technologist.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of a program in discipline required
- Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or Cardiovascular Technology program (Proof if accreditation would be required for the year of graduation on hire)
- Current compliance with continuing medical education (CME) requirements for the specialty(ies) as appropriate
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) in Abdomen (AB), Breast (BR), OB, Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
- A.R.R.T – Ultrasound within 1 year of hire
- 2 years’ experience in hospital setting in sonography or radiology (clinical rotation is not applicable)
