About the Role
Havas Street is seeking a Regional Manager, ideally based in Chicago, to lead a variety of markets, overseeing all brand ambassador programs, community activations, and special events. This role requires a dynamic mix of sales, strategic planning, field execution, innovation, and team leadership.
As the bridge between clients, agency leadership, and field teams, you’ll ensure campaigns are flawlessly executed, budgets are met, and staff are supported to deliver at the highest level.
What You’ll Do
- Leads and mentors local market managers, and logistics coordinators, building accountability and retention
- Acts as the day-to-day client contact, ensuring trust and effective communication
- Oversees and approves regional budgets, expenses and payroll
- Leads and implements region reporting using reporting systems
- Provides real-time coaching, spot-checks, and crisis resolution during activations
- Hires, trains, and develops field managers and logistics coordinators while collaborating with Recruiting on staffing needs
- Audits event performance and reporting for quality control, identifying opportunities for improvements and efficiencies
- Conducts in-market visits, brand ambassador trainings, and supports onsite execution of high-profile events
- Manages warehousing of client assets, tracks inventory, and develops effective distribution processes
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred (communications, liberal arts, business, or marketing preferred)
- 4 years of management experience in event or field marketing, with an emphasis on sales
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to mentor, motivate, and retain staff
- Excellent organizational skills, detail orientation, and ability to thrive under pressure
- Demonstrated success managing budgets, reporting systems, and remote teams
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills; comfortable client-facing and leading groups
- Must have a vehicle and flexibility to travel frequently throughout the mid-west, including nights, weekends, and holidays
