In this vital role, you will provide expert nursing care to our patients who are experiencing mental health challenges, supporting their journey toward healing, stability and well-being. You will provide support for our in house Psychiatric Nursing Staff and join a growing movement of care that is about the whole person.

Duties
- Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs, draw labs, perform EKGs, Basic EEGs (training provided in house).
- Verify patient medications, follow up on lab reports, assist in intake process, improve ongoing communication with patients between appointments
- Monitor patient responses to medications and therapy
- Manage patient care plans by documenting medical records accurately using our cloud-based EMR, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide patient education on medication management, coping strategies, and wellness practices to promote recovery and self-care.
- Assist in phone and in person triage processes to prioritize urgent cases and coordinate referrals for specialized services and primary care providers.
- Support behavioral health interventions by monitoring patient progress and collaborating with psychiatrists, therapists, and case managers.
- Perform nurse case management duties such as care coordination, helping patients get access to resources, obtaining medical records, assisting patients in getting medications.
- Provide pharmacy and prior authorization support
- Work with admin and reception team to ensure safe and efficient care
- Support Psychiatric Providers in our mission to care for our patient and make our world better
Experience
- Valid unencombered Oregon RN licensure
- ADNs are welcome to apply
- Prefer experience working in psychiatric settings or behavioral health environments
- Must have excellent communication skills, work well on a team, be organized and self motivated as the job entails a lot of autonomy and self direction
- Be comfortable doing blood draws, urine drug screens, obtaining EKGs and EEGs (any training necessary will be provided)
- Willing to become knowledgable of mental health disorders and medications used in psychiatry if not already
- Must have good computer skills (specifically using Apple Products, like iMac), Google Chrome, Google Suite, Electronic Faxes
- Experience doing phone triage is helpful but not required
- Must be nice, relaxed, flexible, compassionate and work well on teams.

Pay: $30.00 - $65.00 per hour
