Job Summary
Are you ready to bring the nightmares to life this fall? Haunted Harvest is looking for enthusiastic, high-energy individuals to join our cast of Seasonal Haunted Trail Actors! No professional acting experience is required—we look for individuals with a passion for Halloween, high energy, and the dedication to deliver unforgettable scares to our guests.
You will work closely with our creative leadership team to develop unique characters, master scare techniques, and keep the adrenaline pumping all night long in a fun, team-oriented outdoor environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the Scares: Safely and effectively frighten and entertain guests along our outdoor haunted trail using vocal variations, physical movements, timing, and misdirection.
- Character Commitment: Stay in character for the duration of the operational night, following the specific theme and storyline of your assigned zone.
- Safety First: Adhere strictly to all actor safety guidelines, including maintaining a safe distance from guests, respecting trail boundaries, and following mandatory hydration protocols.
- Team Reliability: Arrive on time for designated pre-show call times, report to the makeup team promptly, and maintain the cleanliness of your assigned scare zone.
- Costume & Prop Care: Wear and maintain assigned costumes, masks, or makeup looks provided by our design team, ensuring they are treated with respect.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High Energy & Passion: A positive attitude, a love for horror/Halloween, and the physical stamina to perform in an outdoor environment for several hours.
- Reliability: Commitment to the fall weekend schedule. Consistent attendance is crucial to keeping our trail running at full capacity.
- Coachability: Willingness to take direction from our Creative Director regarding scare techniques, safety protocols, and character adjustments.
- Environment: Must be comfortable working outdoors at night, in low-light, foggy, and atmospheric conditions (strobes, loud noises, etc.).
- Age Requirement: Must be 18 or older (or meet local seasonal employment requirements).
Pay: $10.00 - $13.75 per hour
