We’re looking for a Service Technician to join our Buffalo, NY Service Department. This role is perfect for someone with a strong mechanical or electrical aptitude, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to grow into a leadership role in the welder repair industry. You’ll work both in the branch and potentially on the road at customer locations.
What You’ll Do
As a Service Technician, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing high-quality industrial and commercial equipment. You’ll:
- Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment, plasma cutting systems, hydraulic bandsaws, ironworkers, CNC cutting tables, and other specialty equipment
- Read wiring schematics and use hand tools to perform repairs
- Test and diagnose electrical components using digital multimeters and other diagnostic tools
- Lookup and identify the correct parts to complete tasks and repairs
- Take initiative to work independently, while collaborating with the service team to meet department goals
- Maintain high quality and safety standards in every task
- Perform duties following Haun Values: Helpful, Humble, Heart-driven, and Honest
Requirements
What You’ll Bring

- Experience in electronics, computer repair, PC boards, HVAC, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, auto mechanics, small equipment, or other repair/service fields
- Valid NY State Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Understanding of electrical components, input voltage, and power
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent (secondary degree is a plus)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
