What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auto Technician position at Rusiniak's Service Inc.?
We need a committed, hardworking and experienced AUTO TECHNICIAN to meet our growing demand at our auto service location. Part-time and Full-time availability with flexible hours. Must have some Saturday availability.
Job Description:
- Performs work outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy
- Diagnoses causes of most malfunctions and performs repair
- Perform repairs to manufacturer and customer specifications
- Examines vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is recommended
- Communicates with service advisors
- Documents all work performed and recommended
- Road tests vehicle (when required)
- Ensure customer’s car is kept clean
- Ensures work area is maintained and clean
- Operates all tools and equipment safely
- Performs shop equipment maintenance and possible repairs
- All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- 2 years’ experience (Preferred) - will train the right candidate.
- ASE Certification (Preferred)
- NY Motor Vehicle Inspection License (Preferred)
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
