We are actively hiring full-time entry level CDL-A drivers for a Local position running out of Gastonia, NC. Get behind the wheel of consistent local routes, walk through your front door every night after your shift, and pull in strong weekly earnings starting on day one. PAY:

• Total yearly income: $83,200 - $104,000
• Weekly earnings: $1,600 - $2,000
• Orientation bonus: $300 paid out immediately upon completing orientation
• Per mile rate: $0.80 CPM
• Every single Friday your earnings are deposited directly and automatically into your bank account

JOB DETAILS:

• Position Type: Local - Full Time
• Freight: No-Touch Dry Van exclusively
• Home Time: Daily - drivers are home after every single shift with absolutely no overnight runs ever
• Schedule: Day and night shift assignments are both available; weekend availability is a requirement
• Weekly mileage: 2,000 miles

EQUIPMENT:

• Every truck in the fleet is a 2024 or newer Freightliner Cascadia maintained in impeccable condition and always ready to perform
• Automatic transmission is fitted as standard across every single truck in the full fleet
• Dry van trailers are used on every assigned load without exception

REQUIREMENTS:

• A valid Class A CDL is required from all applicants
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• A spotless and clean driving record is a firm requirement
• No SAP program participation or DUI history of any kind will be considered
• All applicants must pass a DOT physical and complete a pre-employment drug screening
• Must reside within a reasonable and commutable distance from Gastonia, NC

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Take full charge of all Class A tractor-trailer operations on every assigned local route with a firm and unwavering commitment to safety and professionalism
• Execute thorough and fully detailed pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections at the start and end of every run without exception
• Keep all ELD electronic logs precise accurate and in complete compliance with every applicable DOT standard and regulation
• Follow all DOT requirements and company safety guidelines strictly and consistently on every single haul
• Provide dispatch with professional clear and timely updates and communication throughout the complete duration of each trip
