Summary You’ll support equipment, spare parts, modernizations, repairs, and field service for metals-related equipment. A big part of this role is building trust with customers and developing strong working (and sometimes personal) relationships. Primarily Copper and Steel extrusion What You’ll Do Own sales activity for assigned customers and help drive new RFQs and sales opportunities.Help define scopes of work for spare parts, projects, repairs, modernizations, and field service needs.Work closely with sales, engineering, purchasing, and product management to clarify customer requirements and project details.Review and approve proposals before they are submitted to customers.Partner with customers to identify improvement opportunities for their equipment and operations.Coordinate with internal teams and affiliated business units to ensure customer needs are met.Contribute to strategic planning by identifying new business opportunities and areas for product growth.Complete required customer documentation such as meeting notes, expense reports, CRM updates, and contact information.Track project schedules and deliveries to ensure commitments are met.Take on additional responsibilities as needed.Travel regularly to customer sites (approximately 35–45%). What You’ll Need Engineering degree with 5 years of metals industry experience or 8 years of hands-on metals industry experience (aluminum extrusion experience is a plus).Sales experience with strong negotiation skills.Strong communication skills and the ability to work confidently with customer leadership.Ability to read and understand equipment drawings.Working knowledge of project management principles.Team-oriented mindset with the ability to perform well under pressure.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Comfortable writing reports and presenting information to customers and internal teams.Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, CRM systems, Word, Excel, and project software. Engineering software (CAD/CAM) is helpful but not required.Willingness and ability to travel throughout North America.
