Key ResponsibilitiesData Management: Collect, verify, and enter employee hours, earnings, and changes (like new hires, transfers) into the payroll system.Calculation & Processing: Calculate gross pay, overtime, deductions (taxes, benefits, 401k), and net pay for each employee.Payment Issuance: Process paychecks and direct deposits accurately and on time.Record Keeping: Maintain confidential employee payroll files and update records for changes in status or benefits.Reporting: Prepare summaries of earnings, taxes, and other payroll-related data for management and accounting.Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and company payroll policies and procedures.Issue Resolution: Address and resolve employee questions or discrepancies related to their pay.
