• Kitchen Staff / Cook /PT/Sub- No Nights or Weekends*Hatfield Public Schools is currently hiring for a part time/substitute Kitchen Staff / Cook for the upcoming school year and beyond. This part time position will fill in/substitute kitchen staff for the current school year 26-27. Qualified candidates will be interviewed ASAP. Number of hours will vary but expect to be 4-8 hrs per week.*Enjoy the benefit of having nights and weekends off!Duties include but not limited to: Prepare and serve food items in the cafeteria.

Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times Assist with food preparation, including cutting fruit, vegetables and assembling meals Set up and maintain serving stations with appropriate food items and utensils Clean and sanitize work areas, including countertops, equipment, dining tables, and operate dish machine Assist with inventory management and restocking of food supplies Provide excellent customer service to students and staff Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accuratelyQualifications: Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standardsIf you have a passion for hospitality, enjoy working in a team-oriented environment, and have a desire to provide exceptional service to customers, we encourage you to apply for the position of Kitchen Worker.
