Why Open and DAY TO DAY –
- This role will work on (OR, L&D, or other Inpatient Departments moving to other locations in the hospital – site moves that involve systems). This role will also work with Lab Systems that are changing and upgrading systems.
- Will report to the Director of IT For the Largest Hospital in the Network and work with PM’s to coordinate between units onsite and IT Teams.
- The ability to navigate the complex workflows of a healthcare environment, and a strong commitment to optimizing patient care through technology. Onsite is preferred and this role will require a highly professional and customer-oriented approach.
- Epic EMR & Clinical IT Expertise: Work closely with providers, nurses, and staff to understand their needs, optimize workflows, and ensure Epic EMR and other healthcare IT solutions meet clinical and business objectives.
- Business & System Analysis: Analyze inpatient healthcare operations to identify process improvement opportunities, automation needs, and system enhancements.
- Project Coordination: Support IT and clinical teams on various projects, including Infrastructure, EMR, and other healthcare IT initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
- Testing & Implementation: Lead functional testing efforts, collaborate with end users to validate system performance, and ensure smooth go-lives for IT projects.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between IT, clinical teams, and external vendors to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Regulatory & Compliance Adherence: Ensure all system implementations comply with healthcare regulations, best practices, and security protocols.
- Healthcare System Experience: Strong background in inpatient healthcare IT environments, working directly with clinical staff, leadership, and IT teams.
- Epic EMR Expertise: Must have hands-on experience supporting or implementing Epic EMR in a hospital or health system setting.
- Project Management & Analysis: Proven ability to manage IT projects, analyze business needs, and ensure successful system implementations.
- Professionalism & Communication: Must be extremely professional with excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with C-level leaders, providers, and technical teams.
- Onsite Commitment: Ability to work onsite in Hendersonville, NC for the duration of the contract (3-6 months).
- Prior experience with Infrastructure, Security, or Network projects in addition to EMR.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and workflow optimization.
- Experience interfacing with vendors to support IT development and implementation.
- Preference for candidates who have worked on multiple Go-Lives, Training, or other IT projects with our team recently.
Salary : $50 - $53
