The ideal candidate will bring strong software development experience in C and related technologies, with a focus on designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance applications. This role requires candidates to be available for onsite interviews and to collaborate closely with technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using modern C (C 11/14/17).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA, and system engineers.
Debug and optimize code for performance, reliability, and scalability.
Work with hardware and systems engineers to integrate software with embedded or real-time systems.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation of technical solutions.
Contribute to continuous improvement of coding practices, tools, and processes.
Required Skills & Experience
3–7 years of professional C development experience.
Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.
Experience with Linux/Unix environments for development and debugging.
Proficiency with version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.).
Experience with multithreading, real-time systems, or hardware integration is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Must be able to attend onsite interviews in Manassas, VA.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Python or C# for scripting and automation.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Exposure to networking, telecommunications, or defense systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
