The paraprofessional will work closely with the school's Restorative Coach, the student support team, and principal to assist with classroom instruction, and ensure students have the tools and support needed to succeed in their learning.

Student Contact Days
7.5 hours per day
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and support students grades 9-12 in a quiet space for homework completion.
- Work with students to improve organizational and study strategies, homework completion, time management, goal setting and self-advocacy.
- Partner with the Restorative Coach to support students with accountability projects and other restorative practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate's Degree or two years of college (preferred).
- Experience working with children in an educational or youth development setting.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn restorative practices or similar student-centered behavior approaches.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stay calm and supportive during challenging student behaviors.
- Commitment to equity and supporting all students in a positive and respectful manner.
- Experience working with secondary-aged students
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities
- Training or coursework in child development, counseling, education, or behavior intervention
