Location: Kennedy Elementary
Schedule: MondayFriday, up to 40 hours per week
Program Duration: 10-week childcare program (full availability required)
Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour

- Supervise children at all times to ensure a safe and healthy environment
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations
- Enforce program policies and safety procedures
- Implement and adapt activities based on provided guidelines
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Maintain structured and engaging programming
- Interact positively using developmentally appropriate practices
- Provide guidance, encouragement, and individualized support
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Communicate effectively with children, staff, parents, and administrators
- Maintain confidentiality
- Build and sustain positive professional relationships
- Assist with snack preparation and cleanup
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe program space
- Support overall site operations as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous childcare or school-age program experience preferred (not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Flexible, dependable, and team-oriented
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
