What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse/Operations Manager position at Hassett Commercial Moving & Storage?
We are looking for a Warehouse/Operations Manager. Candidate will be involved in all aspects of warehouse and operations management . Candidate should have experience with warehousing, scheduling and dispatch. Must be able to operate a forklift and have a valid C class license but a CDL A license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage all shipping, receiving, and storage in the warehouse
- Work closely with the owners to run the day to day operations of the company
- Scheduling and dispatch of all crews and jobs/hiring
- Stock and prepare trucks with proper equipment for each job
- Oversee the maintenance of all trucks including DOT compliance
- Oversee building maintenance
- Ordering of all materials and equipment needed
- Work with and support the sales team and crews to deliver the highest quality of service to our customers
Skills
- A valid C or A class driver’s license
- Ability to lift heavy furniture on occasion, along with boxes
- Availability to occasionally work weekend or evening hours as needed
- A polite and professional disposition with customers and employees
- Ability to multi-task and work independently to complete daily tasks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $72,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
