The Opportunity
The Maintenance Technician handles the maintenance and repair of our state-of-the-art CNC and other production machinery.
In This Role, You Will
- Diagnose and repairs production machinery.
- Communicate with management and machinery vendors as required.
- Maintain and follow comprehensive machine TPM schedules including Oil and fluid level, Concentration levels, Filter changes and Machine or process calibrations
- Assist with Company projects and engineering efforts.
- Partner with management, engineering, and equipment vendors to resolve technical issues and drive improvements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, process enhancements, and special projects
- Contribute to a culture of teamwork by mentoring peers and sharing technical knowledge
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety and quality
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Degree or GED
- 2 years in a CNC Manufacturing environment preferred.
- Demonstrated ability and knowledge of trouble shooting and repair of:
- CNC machines and controllers
- Electrical equipment and processes
- Mechanical equipment and processes
- Pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
- HVAC systems
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and handle numerous tasks simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to lift 30 lbs regularly, occasionally 50 lbs
- Regular standing, bending and walking
- Occasional climbing stairs, reaching overhead and crouching.
