Client is looking for a Technical Product Owner who is typically the individual closest to the business side of the project. This position will need to understand business requirements and writing up corresponding features in Azure DevOps.
Job Title: Technical Product Owner
Location: Chicago, IL Must be local
Contract: 12 Months Hybrid (Possible Extension)
Pay Rate: $70-$75 per hour on W2
Interview process: 1st round via MS team, 2nd round In-person required
Required Qualifications
- 12 years’ experience as a Technical product owner
- 5 years of experience leading a technical team while simultaneously managing multiple projects
- 3 years of experience with the Agile methodology
- 2 years’ experience with Azure DevOps.
- Able to convert Business needs into technical requirements
- Exp on API platform, Data driven is plus.
- Leadership experience – able to own the product and organize required meetings and sessions to move development forward
- Product Owner certification is preferred
Soft Skills:
- Proactive able to push projects forward independently. Demonstrated ability to communicate appropriately to ensure a team’s success.
- Domain expert in business applications.
- Strong accountability planning/organization, and teamwork.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills to deal with sensitive, emotional or potentially controversial situations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
