Operations Manager (Mobile Service Coordinator)

Position Summary:
The role involves managing test and work communication lines and devices for internal departments. Key responsibilities include handling carrier service lines, pre-production sample registration, SIM card operations, and mobile device lifecycle management. The position also requires project management skills to oversee multiple projects, update reports, and ensure compliance with company policies.

GSCMS (Operation)
- Coordinate and manage SIM card operations such as data entry, inventory management, new account activations, cancellations, and re-issuances as needed.
- Input and analyze data through internal system and optimize monthly costs.
- Assist HQ visitor and users with SIM card access, VOC reports, and solutions.
- Share improvements and experiences in operation troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Coordinate with US based mobile carriers on contract negotiation to align internal requirements.
- Communicate with HQ and local management to ensure overall operation status
- Upload each invoice into the internal system that require with HQ format
- Manage communication expense and invoices arise from various activities
MMS (Backup operation)
- The MMS operations Coordinator is responsible for managing the lifecycle of mobile devices used for internal business communications. This role ensures efficient device distribution, inventory oversight, carrier coordination, and support for mobile-related service requests, while optimizing operational costs and maintaining compliance with company policies.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Activate mobile carrier services for internal users with IMEI# and eSIM through the internal asset request management system.
- Liaise with carrier service representatives to resolve internal service issues and troubleshoot mobile device inquiries.
- Manage mobile device and accessories inventory; conduct physical audits when necessary.
- Process and fulfill service requests, including new hire onboarding, upgrades, loaners, repairs, returns, carrier changes, and transfers within defined timelines.
- Retrieve mobile devices from former users and upgrade users, ensuring secure handling and reassignment of mobile devices.
- Perform monthly audits of service usage and carrier invoices to identify trends and reduce unnecessary expenses.
- Respond to internal inquiries related to mobile communications and escalate complex issues to appropriate stakeholders.
- Oversee compliance with internal asset request procedures, company policies, and carrier-specific features.
NASMS (Backup operation)
- Coordinate all Pre-production Samples that from HQ for testing and training purpose.
- Coordinate and manage Samples in SEA, such as tracking, inventory management, distributions, extension, audits, assign, and scrap.
- Communicate with HQ senders and local users to ensure the overall status of the operation and shipping
- Guide users for the bi-annual sample inventory audit. If needed, physical scanning for all samples with the Users
- Analyze monthly sample delivery and operation results based on reports.
- Evaluate monthly mobile service operation results and report them to upper management.
- Work with Retail Operations, Security, and Financial Strategy teams in case they need sample status or bulky registration and guide what to do.
- Arrange small offices’ requests to the corresponding area’s sample coordinator. i.e. Atlanta, Englewood, Others.
- Communicate with the HQ PI and R&D Development team in case of any interface errors between myProject and NASMS or sender errors.
- Follow up with active end-users and/or their managers for unconfirmed, expired, or unreturned device transactions to ensure the company's assets are managed securely.

(Minimum qualifications required to perform this job)
- The Operation Program coordinator must have a high school degree or an equivalent level of work experience.
- Strong Project Management skills and the ability to prioritize in a complex working environment
- Would have over 1 year of experience in the telecom or customer service industry.
- Ability to communicate articulately, both verbally and in writing.
- Comprehensive use of Microsoft Office applications operating in Windows XP.
