Maintenance Engineer

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience maintaining boilers, air compressors, condensers, glycol systems, cooling towers, and wastewater
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical motors and controls (VFD experience a must)
- Experience troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Experience maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical systems – Fans, conveyors, gearboxes, etc.
- Experience troubleshooting fluid process equipment including pumps, valves, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics and equipment manuals
- Able to lift 50 lbs. routinely / frequently and be able to sit, stand or climb or walk for long hrs
- Understanding and experience of preventive maintenance. Experience with CMMS programs preferred
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and maintain equipment and records
- Strong team/verbal/written skills are required. Demonstrated ability to be a Team Player
- Must be available to work any shift including nights, weekends, holidays.
Education, Experience and Certifications
- Familiarity with MS Office suite and applications, ability to utilize electronic communication effectively
- 3-5 years of manufacturing maintenance, millwright, or other closely related experience
- 3 years of mechanical/electrical maintenance, OR instrumentation certification
- Experience troubleshooting: PLC’s, controls instrumentation and panel arc flash rating level PPE requirements
- Formal education in a related field
