What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at Harvest Technical Services, Inc.?
The Project Manager will work within the Transmission & Distribution Global Practice handling a project load within the region in a dynamic manner based upon the core values of client satisfaction, commitment, dedication, integrity, safety and overall outstanding service.
The Project Manager's responsibilities may include:
- Management of a portfolio of projects with the assistance of a Controls Specialist
- Scope Development and Management
- Budget development, management, and oversight
- Schedule development, management, and oversight
- Coordination with client teams across multiple disciplines
- Oversight of contracting processes
- Stakeholder management
- Contract, and change order management
- Monthly accrual management, and invoice review
Qualifications
- Candidates for this position must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related field from an accredited curriculum.
- Minimum of five years of project engineering or field engineering experience with at least 2 years related project management experience.
- Must have detailed knowledge in either substations, networks, or transmission lines.
- Must have ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of industry, government and public contacts on project-related matters.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to travel.
- Valid driver's license required.
The hiring range for this position is $70.00 to $80.00 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors.
