89-1 Accounts Payable Analyst

Hybrid: San RafaelKey Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:Manage account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies across AP and related accounts.Review and process complex AP transactions while ensuring adherence to company policies.Determine root cause for invoice/supplier issues. Submit and track IT tickets, initiate meetings and work with internal support staff to resolve invoicing/supplier issues.Backup to AP Mailbox Coordinator when they are out of the office.Assist with month-end close activities, including clearing account discrepancies and variance analysis.Investigate AP exceptions, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.Support the AP Manager in refining processes and improving accuracy in reporting.Develop and document best practices for reconciliation and AP workflows.Any special projects/tasks assigned by management.Qualifications:Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.1-2 years Accounts Payable Experience.Strong knowledge of core accounting concepts. Knowledge of control concepts (segregation of duties, verification, security, etc.).Ability to exercise good judgement and effective written and verbal communication skills.Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving issues, and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems. Experience in Oracle and/or SAP a plus.Competent in Microsoft Office, including Excel. Education:High School diploma required.Bachelor’s degree preferred.The hiring range for this position is $35 to $41 per hour.
