What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solar Installer-Commercial position at Harvest Power?
About the role: We are seeking a full time solar installer that has solar, roofing or construction experience. You will be working as part of a team, under the direction of a foreman, to install commercial roof top solar systems.

Responsibilities:
- Work under the direction of a foreman installing roof/ground mounted commercial photovoltaic systems
- Assisting in reading building plans to layout the design
- Builds racking systems
- Preforms basic supervised electrical wiring of PV arrays
- Installs modules, inverters and communications
- Preforms PVC/ EMT pipework
- Maintains PPE compliancy
Qualifications and Skills:
- MUST have experience in solar, roofing, carpentry, exterior home improvements, or general construction
- MUST be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- MUST be able to work on your feet and lift a min 50 lbs consistently thorughout the day
- Knows proper usage of harnesses and other safety gear
- Ability to ascend/descend a ladder and rooftop
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Driver License and reliable transportation is required- YOU ARE EXPECTED TO MEET ON THE JOBSITE EVERY MORNING
- Job sites are varied throughout the tri state
