Prep Cook

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Prep Cook to join our culinary team. As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to recipes and quality standards. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our customers receive delicious and well-presented meals.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards

- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures

- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Monitor food stock levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies

- Adhere to dietary restrictions and special requests from customers

- Assist with catering events as needed

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook or similar role in the food industry

- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods

- Ability to handle knives and other kitchen tools safely

- Familiarity with menu planning and recipe development

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

**General salary listed, compensation based on experience and performance.

**All employees must complete a 90 day probationary period.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
