Essential Job Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly and annual external financial statements and related disclosures.
- Prepare supporting schedules, work papers, and analyses in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company policies.
- Assist with external audits and quarterly reviews by responding to auditor requests and preparing support.
- Coordinate information requests with external auditors, financial institutions, and other business partners.
- Research accounting guidance and assist in evaluating the accounting treatment of transactions.
- Support compliance with company policies, industry standards, and applicable accounting guidance.

Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of accounting reporting experience – preferred public accounting experience.
- Ability to identify and analyze accounting and financial reporting questions and develop solutions responsive to those questions.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
- Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities with some supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex financial information into an organized and presentable manner.
- Outstanding administrative and organizational skills.
- Midstream reporting knowledge.
- Proficiency in the use and application of the following software: Required: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Preferred: Strong working knowledge of SAP software.
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year university or college with a concentration in accounting.
- Strongly preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or working toward a CPA license.
