26-045.B - Integrity Engineer

Job Objective

Contributes to the Pipeline and Facility Integrity Management Program for North Dakota asset by independently executing standard integrity activities - such as inspections, data integration, anomaly assessment, and risk updates - for pipelines, tanks, and facilities. Demonstrates growing ability to plan work, interpret results, and ensure regulatory compliance with minimal guidance.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and update IMP/FIMP documentation for North Dakota assets, incorporating regulatory and industry best practice changes.
• Plan and execute baseline and continuous ILI programs and facility inspections, including API 653 aboveground storage tank inspections, for North Dakota pipelines and facilities.
• Review and interpret inspection results for pipelines, tanks, and facilities; determine repair priorities and update risk profiles.
• Support regulatory and third-party audits with documentation and technical explanations.
• Develop inspection requirements and ensure compliance with API 1163 and applicable facility and tank inspection standards, including API 653 where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in pipeline integrity or related industry required
• Working knowledge of PHMSA 192/195, API standards, and facility integrity best practices.
• Strong analytical and risk assessment skills.
  
  

Education Requirements, Certifications, Licenses, And Registrations

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Preferred: EIT (Engineer in Training) or Professional Engineer (PE), API 653 Aboveground Storage Tank Inspector, AMPP (NACE) CP1 or CP2 Cathodic Protection, API 570 Piping Inspector
