Harvest Landscape Enterprises is seeking an accomplished and highly driven sales leader to spearhead strategic growth initiatives throughout the Orange County market. This senior-level role is intended to attract top-tier Director and Vice President-caliber talent with a proven track record of generating significant revenue growth, securing large-scale commercial landscape contracts, and cultivating executive-level client relationships.
The ideal candidate will possess an established network within Orange County property management, HOA, commercial real estate, and facilities management industries. This individual will be responsible for generating high-value opportunities, strengthening strategic partnerships, expanding market presence, and collaborating closely with Operations and Executive Leadership to secure and retain premier accounts.
This is a highly visible leadership-level sales role requiring a polished executive presence, strong strategic thinking, and a demonstrated history of producing measurable business results in competitive service industries.
Responsibilities
Business Development & Strategic Sales
- Lead business development efforts throughout Orange County and surrounding markets.
- Identify, develop, and secure new commercial landscape maintenance opportunities with HOAs, commercial properties, multifamily communities, industrial campuses, and mixed-use developments.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with property management companies, asset managers, board members, developers, and industry partners.
- Develop and execute strategic territory growth plans aligned with company revenue goals.
- Generate and manage a robust sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Partner closely with Sales Executives, Branch Managers, and Operations leadership to ensure strategic account alignment and successful transitions.
- Aggressively prospect and develop strategic target accounts within assigned territory.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as a senior representative of Harvest Landscape Enterprises in the marketplace.
- Sustain rapport with key accounts through regular visits, strategic planning discussions, and proactive problem-solving.
- Anticipate client needs and identify opportunities for account expansion and long-term retention.
- Participate in executive client meetings, property walks, presentations, and board meetings.
Industry Presence & Networking
- Represent Harvest at industry organizations and events including CAI, CACM, BOMA, trade shows, networking events, and community functions.
- Schedule and attend client entertainment, lunch-and-learns, social events, and after-hours networking functions.
- Develop strategic partnerships with vendors, consultants, and industry influencers.
- Maintain a strong and visible presence within the Orange County business community.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Collaborate with Executive Leadership to support strategic growth initiatives and market expansion.
- Assist in mentoring junior sales personnel and contributing to overall sales strategy.
- Participate in sales meetings, operational planning discussions, and company initiatives.
- Support proposal strategy, RFP opportunities, and high-level presentations as needed.
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate CRM documentation, sales activity tracking, and reporting metrics.
- Manage individual calendar, entertainment budgets, and territory planning.
- Assist with strategic client retention initiatives when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to develop and manage multimillion-dollar books of business and consistently exceed sales goals in competitive markets.
- Minimum 7–10 years of successful business development or sales leadership experience in commercial landscape, property services, facilities management, construction services, or related industries.
- Existing book of business and strong professional relationships within the Orange County commercial real estate and HOA management industries strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success selling large-scale service contracts and generating substantial annual revenue growth.
- Executive-level communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of property management operations and client service expectations.
- Proven ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally with operations and executive leadership.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple high-level opportunities simultaneously.
- Professional, polished, and relationship-driven approach to sales leadership.
- Valid California Driver’s License with clean driving record.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Ability to attend networking events, client dinners, and after-hours industry functions.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and business reporting tools.
- Ability to travel throughout Orange County and surrounding Southern California markets as needed.e
