Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Purpose: As a Customer Service Representative at Harvest Insurance, you will be the first point of contact for our valued clients, delivering best-in-class service and ensuring a smooth customer experience throughout the insurance lifecycle. Position Responsibilities:
· Assist new clients with onboarding, including gathering information, submitting applications and reviewing coverage options.
· Manage day-to-day service tasks, including policy changes, coverage questions, billing inquiries, and claims support.
· Serve as a primary contact for customer communication via phone, email, and chat, ensuring a responsive and professional experience.
· Process endorsements and documentation accurately within agency and carrier systems.
· Handle service-related escalations with urgency and empathy, following up to ensure full resolution.
· Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, updates, and next steps in internal systems.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Onboarding and Renewal teams to ensure service alignment.
· Meet performance benchmarks, including customer satisfaction, task resolution time, and call activity.
· Identify opportunities to improve workflows and client experience based on daily interactions.
· Represent the Harvest Insurance brand with integrity, warmth and professionalism.
· Other job-related functions as assigned.
Knowledge and Experience:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of insurance customer service experience required; insurance or financial services background preferred. Experience using CRM and service platforms such as Salesforce or similar systems is highly valued. Familiarity with insurance carriers, policy types, and documentation is a plus but not required.
Knowledge & Skills: excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong multitasking and organizational abilities in a fast-paced environment. Comfort with technology, including phone systems, shared file platforms, and service software. Demonstrated ability to handle customer inquiries, resolve conflicts, and follow through. Growth-oriented – open to coaching, development, and evolving responsibilities. Must be able to obtain a 440 Insurance License.
