This position will be located onsite 5 days a week in Verona, PA.
SUMMARY: The Maintenance Planner is responsible for creating accurate equipment records, monitoring department spending and processing requisitions and purchase orders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
WORK INSTRUCTIONS TO POSITION: SOPs are critical to meet customer specifications and maintenance of food safety, quality and process efficiency. Operator’s manual available on each line.
WORK SAFETY: Ensures that all tasks and functions of position are performed in a safe manner at all times and that all procedures and requirements are properly followed to accomplish assigned tasks.
FOOD SAFETY/QUALITY: Responsible for food safety and quality as well as reporting food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority if unable to initiate action.
BACKUP COVERAGE: In the absence of this position, the Maintenance Manager will provide coverage.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: HS Diploma or equivalent. Must be able to attend all job related training classes to increase job knowledge and improve job performance. This also encourages confidence and sense of accomplishment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and understand standard operating procedures and customer specifications. Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts using calculator.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Working knowledge of a modern computer system. Ability to type at a reasonable speed. Familiarity with CMMS and work order systems.

- Order and inventory supplies for the maintenance, blow mold and production departments.
- Manage plant maintenance (PM) work orders in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

- Ability to identify trends, abnormalities, and inefficiencies through accurate record keeping and analysis.
- Must have a basic understand of equipment and parts.
- Maintain inventory in multiple storerooms.
