We are seeking a Machine Operator for our Dayton, New Jersey plant. The Machine Operator will be a key player in our plant operations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about our products, dedicated to excellence, and eager to contribute to our mission of providing delicious and refreshing beverages to consumers nationwide.
Job Description:
The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating production lines, performing changeovers, meeting performance goals, and maintaining a high level of quality that consumers expect from our products.
The Machine Operator will also be operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-speed making, packing, and other production related equipment. Performing preventative maintenance on equipment, follow all safety and good manufacturing practices as detailed in plant procedures, and other task as assigned.
Requirements:
- Prefer individuals with at least 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass a drug screen and physical
Physical Requirements: The role involves tasks that require physical exertion, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods. Applicants must be able to perform these tasks as an essential part of the job.
Work Environment: The position requires working in a fast-paced environment, and employees will be on their feet for up to 12 hours a day as part of their regular duties.
Salary:
- $22.06/hour
Shift:
- Currently recruiting for day and night shift
- Night Shift: 6:30pm-7:00am on a 2-2-3 schedule
Physical Requirements
The role requires the ability to:
- Stand on hard surfaces such as concrete for extended periods, up to 12 hours per shift
- Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Climb stairs, ladders, platforms, and other structures on equipment or buildings to inspect, operate, maintain, or troubleshoot
- Bend at the knees, twist the back, and kneel as needed to access equipment for operation, maintenance, or troubleshooting
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying seasonal temperatures and humidity levels
- Function effectively in areas of high noise while using proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
