We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Electrician to support our plant operations. This role is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems, instrumentation, and controls across high-speed bottling and packaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot 480VAC to 24VDC electrical systems and motor control centers
- Troubleshoot and repair process and packaging equipment (fillers, conveyors, packers, palletizers, etc.)
- Work with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and servo drives to maintain electronic control systems
- Calibrate, inspect, and troubleshoot flow, pressure, level, and temperature instrumentation
- Lead and train other E&I technicians as needed
- Create worker orders in our maintenance system
- Troubleshoot, photo eyes and proximity sensors
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 1 years of hands-on experience as an industrial electrician
- 1–2 years in a high-speed production environment (food/beverage or bottling preferred)
- Formal E&I training from vocational school, military, or certification program preferred
- Understanding of 480VAC power distribution systems and NEC code
- Skilled in using electrical tools (megger, amp/volt meters, conduit benders, etc.)
- Solid troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems
- Experience with PLCs and industrial controls (Allen-Bradley, ControlLogix, SLC-500, DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP) (preferred)
- Familiarity with VFDs and servo systems (PowerFlex, SEW, Pacific Scientific, Rockwell)
- Knowledge of vision systems and online coding/printing systems a plus
The role requires the ability to:
- Stand on hard surfaces such as concrete for extended periods, up to 12 hours per shift
- Lift and carry materials weighing up to 60 pounds
- Climb stairs, ladders, platforms, and other structures on equipment or buildings to inspect, operate, maintain, or troubleshoot
- Bend at the knees, twist the back, and kneel as needed to access equipment for operation, maintenance, or troubleshooting
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying seasonal temperatures and humidity levels
- Function effectively in areas of high noise while using proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
Salary : $34 - $36
