Role Description The Entry Level Business Entrepreneurship Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Charlotte, NC. In this position, the associate supports the planning and execution of field event sales campaigns for nonprofit clients, including preparing event materials, assisting with logistics, and coordinating with team members and client contacts. Day-to-day responsibilities include engaging with event attendees, communicating nonprofit missions clearly, collecting and tracking donor information, and helping drive fundraising results. The associate will also contribute to basic market research, learn fundamental sales and business development techniques, and assist in reporting campaign outcomes to internal teams and nonprofit partners. This role offers hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to entrepreneurship, event management, and nonprofit fundraising.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in business, entrepreneurship, event management, and nonprofit fundraising.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage supporters in person and represent client missions professionally.
- Basic organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks, events, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work as part of a field event team, taking direction and contributing ideas.
- Motivation to learn sales fundamentals, donor engagement strategies, and data tracking for fundraising campaigns.
- High level of reliability, professionalism, and comfort working on-site at events in Charlotte, NC.
