As an Events Assistant, you’ll connect with the community, support events hands-on, and use face-to-face marketing to drive donor sign-ups, giving you real experience in sales, fundraising, and making an impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in daily one-on-one and team training sessions to review goals, performance metrics, and upcoming events.
- Set up event kiosks, signage, and displays in high-traffic areas to maximize engagement.
- Approach and engage community members in a friendly, authentic manner to share stories about our nonprofit partners.
- Inspire contributions and encourage participation in fundraising activities (a portion of your role includes sales/converting interest into donations).
- Collaborate with team members to optimize donor engagement and fundraising results.
- Take initiative to suggest improvements in messaging, engagement strategies, or event setup.
- Contribute to a positive, high-energy team environment during events and team meetings.
