Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Youth Development Professional to join our team in Duffield, Virginia. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the well-being and development of children in our care, aligning with our mission to foster growth and stability.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and supervision to children in the residential home.
- Assist with daily living activities and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each child's needs.
- Implement and support behavioral management and conflict resolution efforts.
- Maintain accurate documentation.
- Administer medication as required.
- Promote a nurturing and trauma informed environment that encourages positive development.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience working with youth.
- Strong understanding of behavioral management and crisis intervention.
- First aid certification and CPR training or ability to obtain such training.
- Ability to work effectively with children who have behavioral issues and who have been effected by trauma.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare protocols is preferred but not required.
- 12 hour night shifts with rotating week-ends required.
- Must be dependable-able to work on scheduled holidays and bad weather.
- Valid driver’s license for transportation duties.

- Must be at least 21 years of age and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
