VENTEON and Harvard Resource Solutions are hiring a Senior Payroll Analyst to provide support in Clawson, MI. Seeking an individual with a proven track record in organization, accuracy, and compliance. This is a key position in the organization and interfaces with people at all levels. POSITION TYPE: Full time. Direct Hire. In Office work environment
PAY: $60,000 - $70,000 annually plus PTO and benefits package
Requirements of the Senior Payroll Analyst:
- Bachelor’s degree is nice to have; a minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in multi-state Payroll processing for a union (or multi union) organization required.
- Full cycle processing skills from timesheets through paycheck production including all garnishments, taxes and deductions.
- High volume processing experience needed (Minimum 800 checks per run).
- Must have strong organizational skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel (Pivot tables).
- Have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills and a desire for continued growth and learning.
- Highly analytical person. Problem solver who rolls their sleeves up and gets to work.
Duties of the Senior Payroll Analyst:
- Process union and non-union, multi state payroll accurately and on time.
- Set-up and process pay groups for each union following specifically defined requirements. Provide support for 20 unions across various states.
- Review and verify employee hours and shift premiums. Calculate wages, deductions, bonuses, and overtime.
- Ensure contractors are costed to correct jobs.
- Calculate and track PTO.
- Process and distribute paychecks.
- Keep employee and payroll records and reports up to date.
- Handle employee inquiries related to pay and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local laws and union requirements.
- Assist in generating union reports and setting up payments for union commissions.
