Billing Specialist

Harvard Resource Solutions is seeking a Billing Specialist for their construction client in Pontiac on a direct hire basis.

Position Overview:

Our construction client in Pontiac is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career, as training will be provided. The ideal candidate is a quick learner with strong communication skills and a keen eye for accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process invoices in a timely and accurate manner
• Review billing data for completeness and resolve discrepancies
• Communicate with internal teams and clients regarding billing inquiries
• Maintain organized billing records and documentation
• Assist with basic administrative and accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• 1 years of billing or related experience required
• Construction industry experience preferred, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (especially email correspondence)
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Solid math and problem-solving skills
