You will help with the design of HVAC systems for commercial and educational facilities including load calculations, air-unit and chiller equipment selections, ductwork, pump and pipe sizing and layout. You would also be responsible for QA/QC construction documents, provide design ideas and solutions, and train or mentor other Designers, Operators or Engineers. Your Impact: • Develop and modify Revit models of plumbing and HVAC systems and components according to established standards • Review Revit modeling techniques, based on input from the engineering team and project managers • Manage the execution of the design for Revit models and AutoCAD documents for multiple projects • Oversee equipment schedules, making changes and adjustments as necessary with input from the engineering team as required • Use Revit to manage the design for interferences with other building elements and resolve conflicts with other team members • Interpret consultant design documents and design the necessary HVAC system • Utilize knowledge of design techniques and principals to mentor and train other designers and engineers involved in the production of plans, sections diagrams, equipment schedules, and drawings. • Organize detailed documentation to track project development and design process • Produce coordinated floor plans, riser diagrams, and isometrics for complex HVAC systems • Monitor installation of equipment and systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety codes Here’s What You’ll Need: • 4-6 years of work experience with an engineering consultant • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering technology degree • Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD • Physical ability and willingness to conduct site inspections and fieldwork, i.e., climb ladders, walk on roofs, etc. • Ability to self-assess and command a high level of accuracy Here’s How You’ll Stand Out: • Strong oral, written, and communication skills • Excellent time-management and organizational skills • Project experience in K-12 educational market Looking to join our dynamic team that values customer service?
