ROLE OVERVIEW: Senior Project Manager, Architectural Facades
The Senior Project Manager, Architectural Facades is a hands-on leader within the Project Management Office (PMO), reporting to the Head of the PMO. This role owns complex architectural façade projects from contract award through closeout, serving as the primary point of accountability across design, engineering, fabrication, and installation.
This is an execution-first role for an experienced façade project manager who understands bespoke, design-assist work and can confidently represent the company with architects, general contractors, and installers. Success requires strong field credibility, proactive risk management, and the ability to anticipate issues before they impact schedule or margin.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Senior Project Manager, Architectural Facades
- Lead façade projects from award through completion, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality adherence
- Serve as the primary client-facing contact for GCs, architects, and partners
- Coordinate with engineering, estimating, fabrication, and operations teams to drive execution
- Manage submittals, shop drawings, change orders, and risk mitigation
- Forecast project schedules and costs; provide clear status reporting
- Partner with fabricators and coating vendors to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery
- Mentor junior project staff and contribute to PMO process improvement
REQUIREMENTS: Senior Project Manager, Architectural Facades
- 5 years managing architectural façade, curtain wall, or exterior cladding projects
- Proven experience delivering multi-million-dollar building envelope projects
- Strong GC- and architect-facing background in design-assist environments
- Ability to interpret AutoCAD/Revit drawings; familiarity with MS Project or Primavera
- Solid understanding of façade fabrication, coating, and installation processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Willingness to travel up to 50% across the U.S. and Canada; valid passport required
