- Leverage oracy-based activities to focus on speaking and listening domains.
- Embed foundational vocabulary to support ELD acquisition of informal language.
- Lead participant recruitment, planning, preparation, and implementation of the curriculum.
- Adapt curriculum and instruction to meet individual needs.
- Incorporate visual supports and scaffolds to facilitate students' engagement in dialogue, role-playing, music, and other activities.
- Collaborate with external partners to leverage resources and expertise.
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to promote the program and its benefits to the community.
