HARTZ Search invites you to explore an exciting opportunity with our client, Lake Charles Memorial Health System, for the Vice President, Revenue Cycle. The Vice President of Revenue Cycle will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will oversee the hospital and physician billing services, processes, and technology across multiple locations and payers. This position is responsible for developing and managing policies and procedures that ensure the efficient operation of the organization’s Revenue Cycle program, essential for generating sufficient cash flow to support both operations and strategic initiatives. To maximize operational efficiency, optimize reimbursement, and deliver exceptional customer service, the VP will organize and lead intra-departmental efforts. The areas reporting to the VP of Revenue Cycle will include Patient Access, Revenue Integrity, Hospital and Physician Patient Financial Services, and Clinic and Ambulatory Coding.

Lake Charles Memorial Health System is the region's largest not-for-profit community healthcare system, serving the healthcare needs of Southwest Louisiana. The hospital is a shareholder of Voluntary Hospitals of America (VHA), fully licensed by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Lake Charles Memorial Health System was established in 1952. Today, the health system includes 313 licensed beds on their Oak Park acute care campus, 52 beds at their Women's campus, 42 beds at their behavioral health campus, and our outpatient clinic serving uninsured and underinsured at the Moss Memorial Health Clinic, and over 100 employed physicians and specialists that are a part of the Memorial Medical Group.

As the healthcare market leader in the Lake Charles region, their success can be attributed to a dedicated team of over 2,700 employees and 300 staff physicians representing more than 60 specialties and subspecialties, the largest emergency services department, and the only trauma center in southwest Louisiana. Memorial has the area's only teaching facility for physicians through the Memorial/LSUHSC Family Medicine Residency Program and serves as a clinical training site for nursing, medical technology, and radiologic technology students through various universities, including McNeese State University.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; a master’s degree in a related field is desirable.
• 15 years of progressive management experience required in healthcare receivables, demonstrating ever-increasing and progressive responsibilities.
• Extensive knowledge of hospital and professional fee Revenue Cycle and regulatory requirements related to Revenue Cycle.
• Experience with payers, providers, hospitals, and physicians and understand the commensurate requirements for facilitating accounts receivable resolution, cash flow, billing, revenue enhancement and patient service issues.
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate to many different audience levels.
• Ability to read, write and speak intelligible English; Basic math skills
• Ability to communicate with patients, family, peers, and medical personnel
• Requires emotional stability and resilience
• Qualified Candidates, must have significant experience utilizing and optimizing Epic
