Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various facilities. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain high standards of floor care, including carpet cleaning and waxing as needed
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure readiness for guests or staff
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to proper procedures for industrial or janitorial cleaning tasks
- Follow established protocols for health and safety regulations to ensure a secure environment for all staff and visitors
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation
- Prior hotel experience or experience in hospitality settings is preferred
- Strong understanding of custodial practices and industrial cleaning procedures
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Experience in housekeeping management is a plus but not required
