We are seeking a Automation Technician for our 3rd shift to join our growing Operations department. This person will be responsible for planning, installing and program, maintain, and replace electrical equipment and electronic controls across automated production processes. The technician must work independently, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure quality and efficiency standards are upheld.

To succeed in this role, you will be highly driven to:

• Read and interpret complex blueprints, specifications, work orders, and bills of material.
• Complete point-to-point wiring, and install a wide variety of electronic components including PLCs, relays, lights, switches, etc.
• Set up and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and servo systems.
• Gather internal stakeholders requirements and create specifications for electrical systems and wiring diagrams for automation controls system and equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance according to HARTING requirements and maintenance plans. Make adjustments in coordination with the responsible group leader (e.g., additional maintenance supplementary to manufacturer specifications, adjustment of maintenance cycles).
• Proactive contribution to process and maintenance optimization in the spirit of HARlis lean management system.
• Support in handling complaints caused by defects in production equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Skills And Experience To Thrive In This Role

• Minimum of High school diploma; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (
• Mechanical or electrical background
• Database reporting and management.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
