The Legal Talent and Development Coordinator supports our firm attorney recruiting and development initiatives with a broad range of responsibilities, including handling the administrative aspects of the firm's attorney recruitment initiatives, the firm's CLE accreditation process, and implementing the associate performance review process.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintains databases to support training initiatives, attorney performance reviews, and legal recruiting processes
- Coordinates training programs and professional development initiatives, including event preparation and maintenance of online resources and training tools to provide CLE certification for attorneys
- Supports the team with on-campus and lateral interview processes, including registering for on-campus interview programs, scheduling candidate interviews and maintaining interview and candidate files
- Coordinates orientation, onboarding and integration of new attorneys
- Provides administrative support for the attorney evaluation processes, including input of review documentation and meeting coordination
- Provides assistance with coordinating mentoring program and activities
- Responsible for tracking expenses, generation of reports and assisting with various projects as needed
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; prior work experience in a client service organization is an asset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to independently prioritize tasks while meeting critical deadlines
- Ability to work effectively with others, including legal and administrative staff
- Focus on customer service for internal and external clients
- Strong technology skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and Document Management System; proficiency with database systems and manipulation of data; and
- Ability to handle confidential documents and information appropriately
Recruiting Information:
- FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
- Hours: 30 hours per week
- Preferred scheduled: 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. M-F
- Expected Pay Range: $25 - $30 per hour
