## Job Overview
Harter's Disposal is a family owned, multi-generation, and growing company seeking a skilled Company Parts Manager to join our team. The Parts Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the parts department, including inventory management, ordering, and stocking parts for 3 locations in Central and Northeast Wisconsin.
## Duties
- Manage the parts department including ordering, stocking, and inventory control
- Utilize OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) resources for accurate parts identification and procurement
- Perform data entry tasks related to parts orders and inventory management
- Use an Order Management System to track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and terms
- Purchase parts as needed while maintaining cost-effectiveness
- Implement effective inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels
- Familiarity with RTA or similar inventory management systems is a plus
- Knowledge of commercial truck parts is required
- Travel between locations as needed
## Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse management or parts management is preferred
- Proficiency in data entry and order processing
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to effectively negotiate with suppliers
- Knowledge of inventory management best practices
- Familiarity with RTA or similar inventory systems is advantageous
- Experience in commercial truck parts or related fields is a bonus
