Position Summary

Deliverables:
- Development and detailing of process piping designs for high-purity systems
- Creation of accurate 3D models and coordination in a BIM environment
- Execution of design assignments with minimal supervision and high accuracy
- Design and detail process piping systems for pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical facilities, adhering to ASME BPE standards
- Develop high-purity process systems and clean utility services designs
- Utilize CADWorx and Isogen for piping design; leverage similar design modeling software as necessary
- Collaborate with project teams in a BIM environment to ensure effective project coordination
- Conduct site visits for design verification and project support as required
- Ensure designs meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Provide technical guidance and support during the construction phase of projects
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and technologies
- Participate in project meetings and communicate design progress and issues
- Review and validate design models and documentation to ensure accuracy
- Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Process Piping Designer, in Biopharma manufacturing environments or Oil & Gas
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required
- Proficiency in modeling within a BIM project coordination environment
- Experience with CADWorx and Isogen piping design software preferred; experience with similar software considered
- Working knowledge of ASME BPE standards and clean utility services design
- Ability to execute detailed design assignments with minimal supervision
- Additional experience with Revit is a plus
- Willingness to travel occasionally to worksites throughout Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut
