Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Technician to join our Family. We need technicians for our growing service department- complete with brand new heated and cooled bays!
As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of vehicles, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and meet high-quality standards. This role requires a strong background in automotive mechanics and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate would have experience in Chrysler Dodge Jeep or Ram products. Dealership experience preferred. Pay based on certification and experience level. Master Technician applications are encouraged!
Duties/Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 70lbs regularly
- Must have appropriate tools to perform duties
- Must have inspector license
- Diagnose customer concerns and recommend necessary repairs
- Install parts to remedy concerns
- Annotate failures for advisors to receive approvals from warranty and insurance companies
- Perform multi-point inspections
- Properly document procedures performed
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform repairs and maintenance tasks
- Stay up-to-date with manufacturer training and guidelines for CDJR vehicles.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Maintain your work area to OSHA standards
Skills:
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently.
- Preferred prior experience with Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicles and their specific maintenance requirements.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and powertrain components.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools, including diagnostic equipment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and diagrams.
- Ability to maintain and repair vehicles to meet high-quality standards.
** Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and pass a drug screening. **
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
