What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at Harrison Richard Group?
One of our clients in Bethlehem, PA is looking for a Senior Accountant to add to their growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
- Review and approve daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Monitor and maintain transaction oversight to ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Partner with operations leadership to prioritize critical vendor payments and support operational needs.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies within accounting operations.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing required schedules and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 4 years of progressive accounting experience, within the manufacturing industry.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Compensation: $80K - $95K
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
