Location: Troy, MI (Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
Opportunity Highlights
- Complex Middle Market Book: Manage a substantial book of business with a premium of approximately $3.5 to $4 million across roughly 20 significant accounts. This is a deep technical role focusing on mid-sized complexity, not just small Business Owner Policies (BOPs).
- Full-Cycle Account Ownership: You will be a crucial, non-segregated team member responsible for the entire client experience, including new business, renewals, claims, and certificates. The agency is currently implementing CSR 24 to support certificate needs.
- Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a hybrid schedule (three days in-office, two remote) and flexible daily hours (e.g., 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with an hour lunch, or start late/work late).
Key Responsibilities / Knowledge
- Industry Exposure: Service and manage complex commercial policies, demonstrating a strong grasp of coverages beyond standard small commercial, including: Management Liability, Cyber and Professional Liability, Commercial Property and Business Interruption, General Liability, and Workers' Compensation
- System & Documentation Mastery: Utilize and maintain proficiency with the Applied Epic agency management system, plus Excel and Adobe.
- Client Service & Support: Act as the primary client service lead, while also assisting Producers and managing policy tasks such as endorsements, policy checking, audit reviews, and invoicing.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5 years of middle-market Commercial Lines experience
- System Knowledge: Non-negotiable proficiency with Applied Epic.
- Licensing: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license.
- Location: Must be able to reliably commute to the Troy, MI office.
