Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee the security operations on 3rd Shift (nights). The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in security practices, and the ability to manage a team effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and security of our client's properties and employees.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily security operations, ensuring compliance with company and client policies and procedures.
- Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to detect and coordinate response to suspicious activities (as needed).
- Conduct regular inspections of the security staff (3rd shift).
- Train and mentor security personnel on security procedures and emergency response procedures.
- Respond (and assist) promptly to incidents or emergencies.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during investigations or emergencies.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, investigations, and security breaches for management review.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the security industry, military, or law enforcement.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV).
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
- Military experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
