What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Officer (Part-time) - FLEX position at Harrisburg Security, Inc.?
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer (Unarmed) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at construction sites (when most workers are leaving or have already left for the day). Security experience in preferred but not required.
Duties:
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a visible security presence
- Monitor property entrance(s)
- Investigate any disturbance on property and act accordingly
- Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as theft, vandalism, fire or presence of unauthorized persons
Requirements:
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED) is required
*Must have a valid driver's license & personal vehicle to drive to the work site and park on property during shift.
*Must be flexible to work any day of the week (including weekends) and any shift as needed - to be scheduled weekly (based on scheduling needs). This is NOT an on-call position. Position has potential to become full-time.
