Director of Events and Agent Experience

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Events and Agent Experience to lead the planning, execution, and enhancement of our events portfolio and agent engagement initiatives. This pivotal role combines strategic oversight with hands-on management to create memorable experiences for our clients, partners, and internal teams. Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive event marketing strategies that align with organizational goals, including venue selection, theme development, and promotional campaigns.
• Oversee all aspects of event planning and management, from initial concept through execution, ensuring seamless coordination of catering, entertainment, logistics, and guest services.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, caterers, and suppliers to secure optimal terms while maintaining quality standards.
• Lead efforts in upselling additional services or packages during events to enhance revenue streams and client satisfaction.
• Manage budgets meticulously, tracking expenses and optimizing resource allocation for maximum impact.
• Cultivate strong relationships with agents, clients, partners, and internal teams through effective communication and personalized service delivery.
• Implement innovative event marketing initiatives that increase attendance, engagement, and brand visibility across diverse platforms.
• Coordinate with hospitality teams to ensure exceptional guest experiences at all events, leveraging banquet, restaurant, hotel, or fundraising expertise as needed.
• Monitor industry trends in event management and hospitality to continuously improve processes and introduce fresh ideas that energize our event portfolio.
• Agent Concierge & Agent Relations
• ● Serve as the primary point of contact for agents joining our organization.
• ● Coordinate agent onboarding and orientation processes.
• ● Assist agents with navigating company systems, resources, and support services.
• ● Act as a liaison between agents and company leadership.
• ● Foster strong agent relationships and promote agent engagement.
• ● Communicate company updates, events, and opportunities to agents.
• Marketing & Business Development
• ● Assist with marketing campaigns for events and venue promotions.
• ● Utilize social media, email marketing, and networking opportunities to increase visibility.
• ● Track event performance and provide recommendations for growth.

Experience

• Proven track record in event management within hospitality environments such as hotels, restaurants, or banquet facilities.
• Extensive experience in negotiating contracts with vendors and venues to secure favorable terms.
• Strong background in marketing strategies specific to event promotion and guest engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large budgets effectively while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with diverse stakeholders including clients, vendors, agents, and internal teams.
• Prior experience in fundraising or guest services roles is highly desirable to enhance guest experience initiatives.
• Knowledge of hospitality operations such as catering management, banquet setup, or hotel services enhances overall effectiveness in this role.
